Sometimes you do not need many words in a post to sum up your feelings. This quote hits perfectly for the day and the moment. Glad someone like Zig Ziglar came around with such a perfect quote.
I appreciate it!
I found a way to combine my love of art, music, and crafts. This past weekend I created a work of art using lyrics from one of my favorite songs by New Found Glory. The song: Tell Tale Heart.
1 Canvas, Mod Podge (I used Matte), X-Acto knife, paint brush, magazines (or newspaper), painters tape
Step One: I taped off the edges of the canvas using painter’s tape. I wanted the edges to remain white. Step Two: I found some neat magazine clippings and used Mod Podge to adhere them to the canvas. Then let dry.
Step Five: After it is dry, peel off the vinyl letters using the X-Acto knife, if needed. Step Six: If desired, use one more layer of Mod Podge over the artwork.
Enjoy your new masterpiece.
The above picture really has nothing to do with the quote. However, those are my new fabulous Warby Parker glasses. And, I may be a bit biased, but I think they look pretty nifty on… perhaps makes me look more awake and bushy-tailed. … Something that someone on their A game would look like. Perhaps.
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes … the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. … They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
