How To Be More Proactive Instead of Reactive

how to be proactive instead of reactive

Every Wednesday morning I hop on Facebook live to share a new personal protection tip or what I like to call “Warrior Tip Wednesday.”  They’re quick, they’re fast, and they are doable.

Why do I go live? Because I want to help my friends, my family, my readers, and you with new out-of-the-box and simple ways to better protect your families.  You hear horror stories in the news every single day and it’s getting scary as a parent.  My goal is not make anyone live in fear, but to understand that with preparedness comes confidence.

That’s why this past week’s Warrior Tip was all about the normalcy bias, which basically means believing that nothing bad will happen to you or to your family.  When you believe your town is safer, your walmart has lower crime rates and your children’s school will never have anything bad happen then you are acting with a reactive mentality and that’s what we want to shift.

In today’s video check out why I want you start thinking more proactively and stop living in this normalcy bias bubble where we are acting with a reacting mentality.  Watch the video online or down below:
